Microneedling is a procedure used for many purposes including treatment of scarring, hyperpigmentation, fine lines and wrinkles, and stretch marks. This procedure involves using a pen with sterilized needles to create tiny punctures in the skin which helps triggers the skin’s own repair mechanism and stimulates collagen production. This procedure is relatively painless and requires a minimal amount of downtime.
